Great place to go for French toast and good drinks! It's a homey atmosphere with sweet staff, and everyone clearly feels safe here. Plus, there are plenty of vegetarian options.

This place is amazingly yummy!! Beat banan walnut pancake I've ver had!! The owner, Laura, is always so nice and always stops by the table to say hello and to make sure things are great! And they always are!! You should eat here!!

Loved the lively, eclectic, artsy atmosphere. Every server was extremely friendly. We got a front booth seat and it was perfect. I got biscuits and gravy, and everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. My son absolutely loved their bread, and he got a yummy veggie omelette. They give you your own pot of coffee, too, and they offer a different flavor from regular (french vanilla was really good). I don’t know the next time I will make it to Carbondale, but definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.

Best food in the Carbondale Illinois area. I have an extreme allergy to mammalian meat and byproducts yet there are so many options for me and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Hands down my favorite place to eat!

Great spot for breakfast. Think old school place to get good food, friendly wait staff, and a place where locals eat. A must go if you are traveling through Carbondale.

Met a few girlfriends here for a late breakfast. Food was delicious as always & the service was great. Will you sat & talked for a couple of hours. The waitress was attentive through the whole thing & no one gave us a hard time for hanging out.

Absolutely love this place. Great food and great service. I really enjoyed the eclectic art feel of the place. And everything is well prepared and the hand crafted coffees are amazing!

Harbaugh’s Cafe is hands down my new favorite restaurant. I currently live very far from home and Harbaugh’s Cafe is the closest thing I’ve found to a home cooked meal, truly each dish is made with care and love. They have wide variety of dishes and as a lover of all breakfast foods, there is certainly no shortage of delicious options. Their omelettes are to die for, their pancakes are the perfectly fluffy, and their home fries will forever be a craving of mine. If you are new to the area, or even if you’ve been here your whole life, you will surely regret not checking out this amazing place.
